We at Florida Fast Towing always ask customers if their vehicle is all wheel drive or front wheel or rear wheel drive. We ask this for two reasons. One so that we which way the vehicle needs to be hooked from. Two so that we send the correct tow truck for the job.

We need to know if your car is FWD, RWD, AWD, or 4WD to be sure that we were sending the correct truck to serve you. Need tow? Call ARS towing at 267-230-3637 or visit us online at www.arstowing.us

Tow companies ask if your vehicle is AWD or 4WD to determine what type of truck is needed for the tow. AWD vehicles usually require a wrecker whereas a 4WD can be towed by a wrecker in most cases.

AWD or 4WD vehicles require all 4 wheels to be off the ground while towing.  It can certainly be done; however it does require extra labor and equipment.  The safest way to tow AWD or 4WD is by a flatbed truck.
